Smilies

Smilies (sometimes called emoticons) are small images that replace short text shortcuts. They let you add tone and personality to your posts without typing a full sentence.

The list below shows the shortcuts that ship with RaxBoard. Administrators can add, edit, or remove smilies, so the live list on this site may differ.

2Tips for using smilies

  • Shortcuts are case-sensitive — :D works, :d may not.
  • Put a space before and after a shortcut so it is recognised.
  • You can disable smilies in a single post by toggling the “Disable smilies” option in the editor.
